Short Term Missions Your Life Will Never Be The SameHands of Hope Ministries is a faith mission so all potential workers will need to raise their own financial support. There are no paid jobs but opportunities to minister amongst the poor are limitless. Perhaps just as important as job skills themselves, are the character qualities you bring to the field such as:
1. Strong Relationship with God: Your ministry flows out of your close relationship with God.
2. Adaptable: You are able to function in a variety of contexts with a variety of people.
3. Humble: You are open to other ways of doing things different to those you mayhave learnt
4. Teachable: You are able to learn how things are done in context before suggesting other ways.
5. Resilient: You are able to survive in often uncomfortably hot temperatures,
lots of noise etc.
6. Sacrificial: You are willing to set your agenda, hopes and goals aside for thesake of others.
7. Confident: Able to get things done without close supervision.
